Classes
HANDGUN CARRY PERMIT
This class is for people who already have a basic understanding of firearms and can shoot accurately. Learn the laws of Tennessee, feel comfortable with knowing how and when to defend yourself, and finish the day testing your knowledge and skills. The cost is $70 Non Members and $35 for Members. This is an all day class offered once a month on a Saturday. Call to book a class with us.
To receive your Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit please follow the steps below:

Apply for your permit at https://dl.safety.tn.gov/_/#1 after you get your application number.

Call Gunny's with your permit number at 865-233-3471 to register for a class

Take your class, pass your written test and shooting test.

Head to the DMV and pay required fees. Fees vary depending on what permit you get.

Schedule a fingerprint appointment by contacting IdentoGO at 1 (855) 226-2937 or go to www.identogo.com

Visit Gunny's at the time of your IdentoGO appointment.

Lastly you will receive your Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit in the mail.

LADIES NIGHTS
Ladies, sometimes you just need your own night! At Gunny’s, we are very supportive of our female shooters, and consistently work to ensure full enjoyment of their shooting experience! Our classes are open to beginners to advanced. Learn to shoot, gain confidence or just come out and fellowship with other shooters. The cost is $40 and includes range time, instructors, and finger foods. You must PRE-register - Book early, these classes fill up quick and we are limited to 12 shooters.
CHURCH SECURITY CLASS
To help our local churches protect themselves Gunny’s Firearms and Indoor Range will welcome church security team members to practice at our range for 1/2 price. We simply ask that you have your security director contact the shop and we will get your team taken care of. We will also offer a 10% discount on ammo.
PRIVATE LESSONS
We do offer private lessons. This Private basic firearms instruction session is designed to give you an opportunity to have one-on-one training with a certified instructor. The instructor will work with you on shooting technique, firearm maintenance, firearms and ammunition and/or any other topic You will need to call the store to discuss your instruction needs before setting a time.
